Abstract
Mental health workers and service users express the intricate nature of violent and threatening
interactions in their narratives. These narratives give important clues to a valuable development
of violence management, and make the participants aware of their different perspectives. This
fosters co-creation of de-escalation interventions helpful to all parties.
