Abstract

Idea in Brief
In this paper the focus is on the need for vocational education and training (VET) of skilled workers who carry out operation and maintenance of large offshore wind farms. This is discussed by addressing:
• Typical tasks in operations and maintenance
• Low skilled vs. high skilled labor
• Future agendas for VET in relation to offshore wind power
The discussion of VETs is mainly made from on a Danish perspective.
