Abstract

Robot technology and play is a new domain for cross-professional collaboration amongst students within engineering, teaching, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. In order make new technological solutions in the area of education and rehabilitation it is necessary to bring knowledge from the different professions into play in new ways. The technological design process is a new meeting place for the professions and for the creation of new interdisciplinary contexts for reflection and learning. Play is a lever for this new interplay. This new interdisciplinary domain came about in collaboration between the Technical Faculty at University of Southern Denmark, University College Lillebaelt and Designskolen Kolding.
