Learning to become better: "backward research" as a new approach for analyzing organizations' innovation processes

Research output: Contribution to journalJournal articleResearchpeer-review

Abstract

This article introduces a new approach of learning where the innovation potential of an organization lies. "Backward Research" is a best practice approach from industry: it offers a tool for getting insights into corporate innovation processes. It leads to a new understanding of innovation procedures and developments, as many documented processes are different in daily practice. Organizations can use this approach to analyze their learning capabilities and to identify areas for improvement.
