Abstract

Development of a learning activity on invasive species: In the activity, knowledge and skills in mathematics and biology are combined to enhance students' understanding of mathematical growth models concerning invasive species.
The activity is intended for biology instruction at C- or B-level and mathematics at B-level.
Estimated time required: 4 lessons of 90 minutes each (2 in biology and 2 in mathematics).
