Conclusion/ Implications for practice
In order to make the admission interview a priority, one nurse is now responsible for patient admission during daytime. To support the patient-centred interviewing approach, a room at the ward is now dedicated for admission interviews.

There will be a Follow-up focus group interviewing with the four keypersons.
The patient-centres approach can be transferred to other aspects of nursing such as patient discharge and patient communication in general.
