Abstract

In which I read Nick’s then-forthcoming book David Bowie, Enid Blyton and the Sun Machine while on strike from the university, reclaiming a little of my time. With this book and its various traces and digressions, I think about the current state of the university, the times of reading, the lecture, and teaching. With Nick and his new text, I look to the hopeful possibility of sun machines and a party to-come.
