Abstract
Collaborative robots (cobots) represent a significant advancement in industrial automation, featuring integrated safety mechanisms that enable safe human-robot collaboration in shared workspaces. However, their widespread adoption is hindered by programming challenges stemming from proprietary, manufacturer-specific programming languages that require specialized expertise to master. This learning curve extends implementation timelines and complicates code reuse, as interpretation of programs written by others remains difficult due to the complexity. To address these programming comprehension barriers, this paper presents FERAViz, a dynamic visualization tool developed within the FERA project [1] to improve understanding of collaborative robotic programs. FERAViz provides interactive visual representations that enhance comprehension of program execution stages and operational flow sequences, ultimately facilitating more efficient cobot programming and deployment.
