Abstract
The invention relates to an electrolyte solution for electrolytic capacitors, in which cyclic, unsymmetrical dicarboxylic acids are used as support electrolytes. The inventive electrolytes are characterised by an increased conductivity with an improved sparking voltage as a result of the unsymmetrical structure of the cyclic dicarboxylic acids. The invention also relates to an aluminium electrolytic capacitor containing the inventive operational electrolyte.
