Abstract

Operating electrolyte for aluminum electrolytic capacitor comprises (wt. %): (a) ethylene glycol (40-85); (b) p-nitrobenzoic acid (0.001-5.0); (c) ammonium hypophosphite (0.001-0.5); (d) ammonium pentaborate (1-10); (e) polyethylene glycol (1-10); and (f) mixture of diammonium salts of specified branched aliphatic dicarboxylic acids (10-50) comprising ammonium methylbenzoate (1-10). Operating electrolyte for aluminum electrolytic capacitor comprises (wt. %): (a) ethylene glycol (40-85); (b) p-nitrobenzoic acid (0.001-5.0); (c) ammonium hypophosphite (0.001-0.5); (d) ammonium pentaborate (1-10); (e) polyethylene glycol (1-10); and (f) mixture of diammonium salts (10-50) of 2-methylnonandioic, 2,4-dimethyl-4-methoxy-carbonyl-undecandioic, 2,4,6-trimethyl-4,6-dimethoxy-carbonyl-tridecandioic and 8,9-dimethyl-8,9-dimethoxy-carbonyl-hexadecandioic acids, comprising ammonium methylbenzoate (1-10).
