Drones for public safety and emergency response operations: Actual and planned use

Research output: Book/reportReportCommunication

Abstract

The memo brings into focus successful uses of drones for public safety and emergency response operations, but also highlights identified challenges to such missions in a Danish context. Based on interviews with core actors within the field and a range of reports and articles that supplement the empirical findings, the memo offers deep insights into the actual and planned use of drones for public safety and emergency response operations. It is thereby intended to serve as inspiration for how to implement and operate a fleet of drones – also for commercial purposes in the future.
