Abstract
Danish as a Second Language (DSA) appears on official lists as one of the subjects in the Danish primary school, but the understanding of the subject has proven to be more ambiguous. The purpose of the article is to examine how the subject is created at the ideological curriculum level through policy analysis of the communication in and about the school subject on the ministry-run learning platform, www.emu.dk.
