Cultural intelligence: A research landscape

Abstract

Purpose: This study identifies reviews the most influential literature streams to cultural intelligence by a bibliometric citation analysis and provides recommendations for future research.
Design/methodology/approach: Three bibliometric citation tools are used to analyse a sample of 357 articles by 823 scholars in 199 different journals published between 1992-2017.
Findings: The analysis reveals 10 research clusters within the topic of cultural intelligence and anables the identification of future research within and at the intercept of clusters.
