Abstract

The capacitor has two laminar conductors that are separated from each other by a dielectric and form an anode (10) and a cathode (12). A terminal lug (14) is connected with the conductor forming the anode and another terminal lug (16) is connected with the conductor forming the cathode. The terminal lugs are guided to the anode and/or the cathode respectively. The terminal lugs are provided with an area of reduced cross-section, where the area forms an overcurrent fuse. The area is formed by stamping.
