Abstract

This report provides an insight into the follow-up research project for the nature restoration and educational development project Belt in Balance. The follow-up research project is entitled: "Effect assessment of educational programmes in Belt in Balance". The Research Centre for Science Education and Communication has over the years followed the Belt in Balance project and studied activity D: Communication to children and young people. The follow-up research project examines the effect that educational programmes and communication about the marine environment have on young people - and asks what can shift young people's interest towards the sea and coast.
