Abstract

Soft robotics technology has proposed uses within several applications that require physical contact between a robot and a human. At the SDU SoftRobotics research lab we have conducted several empirical human-robot interaction studies focusing specifically on the interaction affordances of softrobotics. The poster presents results obtained from three selected studies regarding soft robotics and touch.
