Abstract

In the period 1945-1946 the town of Fredericia in Jutland housed a special refugee camp for Allied Displaced Persons and the so-called 'nice' germans - German refugees who could prove, that they had been victimized by the Nazis or participated in active resistance towards Hitlers regime. My chapter follows the evolution of the camp and attempts to unearth details on the many polish, soviet and German refugees who lived there.
