Using advanced statistical methods to characterize the epidemiological associations between extreme weather events and Danish emergency hospital service demand

This project will use advanced statistical methods and existing hospital activity data to characterize the associations between extreme weather events and hospital activity in Denmark. Its completion will lay the groundwork for a weather risk management system that can sustainably incorporate weather risks into the planning of hospital services.
