Layman's description

War-exposure is a well-documented potentially traumatizing experience for adults and children alike and an increase in mental health problems in the population of Ukraine following the Russian invasion of February 2022 should be expected.

Purpose
Documenting and studying the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine for parents and children.

Design
A nationwide survey of 2,004 adult Ukrainian parents reported their experiences of the war, changes in their own mental health and how the mental health of their children has changed since the beginning of the war. Data for the current study was collected between July and September 2022.
