Description
A three-year project in which arterial tissue from patients with or without diabetes is analyzed for amounts of specific basement membrane proteins, which may be related to clinical outcome.
Layman's description
Vi undersøger om mængden af visse proteiner hænger sammen med risikoen for at udvikler hjerte-karsygdom hos diabetikere. Dette kan muligvis bruges i fremtiden til at udvikle en ny blodprøve, så man kan blive hjulpet mere effektivt.
