Project Details
Description
The project aims to give robotic surgeons the opportunity to train and maintain their skills by developing and implementing a simulation platform for robotic surgery.
SDU Robotics has developed MOPS (Modular and Open Platform for Surgical Robotics Research), a platform for robotic surgical research, which is used in this project. SDU Robotics integrates and sets up hardware for the solution.
The project is developed in close collaboration between developers and clinicians at relevant robotic surgery specialities and anchored in Urinvejskirurgisk Afdeling L with testing in Simulationscentret SimC. Universal Robots supplies UR robot arms for the project, and CCR is responsible for project management.
Funded by Innovationspuljen in Region of Southern Denmark.
