Key findings
SenAte aims to promote physical activity at home as a tool to improve health in the population of older adults. To do this, the consortium of 6 partners faces the challenge of bringing physical activity sessions to the homes via exergames that can be done at home, by downloading an app. As we age, staying active is essential, yet many face challenges such as limited mobility or isolation. The SenAte App was created to address these barriers, offering a variety of exercises tailored to the participant's level. These exercises enhance coordination, balance, reaction time, and muscle strength—all crucial for supporting daily tasks and building confidence. Additionally, the app includes activities to stimulate cognitive function, further enriching overall wellbeing.
