The Associations between Body Mass Index, GLP-1 Receptor Agonists Use and Musculoskeletal Complaints

Pain in the musculoskeletal system affects most people to varying degrees. The causes of these conditions are generally poorly understood, and treatment options are often limited. A better understanding of the connection between obesity and weight-loss medications may be key to improving both diagnostic insight as well as treatment and prevention strategies. This project investigates these relationships using medical-record data from general practitioners linked with data from Danish registers.
