The overall objective of this Ph.D. study is to systematically identify risk factors, protective factors, and risk patterns for suicidal behavior and suicide in Greenland.
The Ph.D. study is based on three sub-studies: 1) A register study on time trends and geographical clusters in suicide 2) A systematic literature review on peer-reviewed papers on risk factors and protective factors for suicide in Greenland 3) A register study mapping social determinants and other factors related to suicide among youth and young adults.
