Prospective cohort study of 300 patients undergoing bariatric surgery and 300 obese control persons.
Key findings
Extensive bio banking and triple liver biopsies are the core of our project, The aim is to find prognostic factors for progressive fatty liver disease within genome, microbiome and phenotype.
