Geographical expert - Farnet

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

In the framework of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), a European network for fisheries areas (FARNET) was established by the European Commission to assist in the implementation of EU measures for the sustainable development of these areas. This network is animated by a Support Unit located in Brussels in close cooperation with the European Commission. The FARNET Support Unit acts as a platform for networking between fisheries areas and supports and guides Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs) in devising and implementing local solutions to the challenges confronting Europe’s fisheries areas. In each of the countries implementing Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) in the EMFF, the Support Unit has selected a geographical expert to serve as contact and liaison point between the FARNET Support Unit and the Managing Authorities and the FLAGs. This letter is to certify that Annette Aagaard Thuesen has been appointed as geographical expert for Denmark by the FARNET Support Unit. For the development of their work these experts will be contacting the Managing Authorities and the FLAGs on a regular basis. In order to ensure optimum exchange of information and hence maximum benefit to all parties involved in the network, the FARNET Support Unit and the European Commission would appreciate the full collaboration of the persons contacted by this expert.
