Description
I am currently PI of a Danish Institute of Advanced Studies funded project on ‘Future Drone Warfare’. The Funding is € 200,000 (£177,000). The project started in May 2018 and will involve the analysis of the non-state use of drones through field research and elite interviews in the Sahel (Niger), Ghana, UAE, Yemen, France, UK, Iraq, and the United States.
Key findings
The output is has been reports of the UN Human Rights Council, UK Parliament, and NATO, as well as international workshops at SDU, Yale, Stanford, and Oxford. The legacies of the project are the NATO Funded VDA project, two peer reviewed journal articles, two book chapters, and a contracted monograph.
