Description
The main objective of this project is to investigate whether developing a new research-based teaching activity in which students contribute to creating a database can improve the motivation and learning of students.
Students are collecting data characterizing the indoor environmental quality of their dwelling. An interactive web app was designed and created to enable them to explore their data and assess the quality of their indoor environment. The web app is used in class for supporting the learning objectives of the course and ongoing and future research related to the indoor environmental quality of existing buildings in Denmark.
