Description
This learning programme, 3 intensive week training for global south practitioners, focuses broadly on urban sustainability and inclusiveness to accommodate for greener, resilient and livable cities. Contemporary cities are characterized by increased and growing complexity at all levels from policy and governance, over infrastructure, public services and technological solutions, to the social and environmental aspects of everyday urban life. Simultaneously, contemporary cities are facing increasingly complex and interconnected challenges whether they relate to climate change, pollution, migration, crime, urban growth and resource exploitation. This requires a systemic and multi-stakeholder approach to re-thinking urban systems by design.
