Beyond the Buzzword: Constructive Journalism as Pragmatic Editorial Practice

This project investigates the production and implementation of constructive news in Danish digital newsrooms as a pragmatic editorial practice. While previous research has often focused on how normative ideals and prescriptive frameworks are implemented in newsrooms, this study takes a bottom-up approach: identifying constructive content and exploring how editorial goals, constraints and routines shape its emergence.

Jeg undersøger, hvad konstruktiv egentlig er i praksis , og hvordan og hvornår nyhedsredaktioner bruger det. Jeg fokuserer især på at afdække, hvilke faktorer som er afgørende for, om nyhedsredaktioner bruge konstruktive greb eller ej, og hvordan og hvornår sådanne greb kan understøtte mediernes overordnede strategi.
