This is a suggestive, quite beautiful audiovisual piece that explores illness and recovery and the relationship between inner and outer lives as integral to human experience and reflection. We felt this creative, auto-ethnographic submission was inspirational of the kinds of directions visual anthropology can take, if the researcher is able to draw on the requisite resources and skills—and to do so with theoretically driven forms of enquiry in mind.
