The DSEB's innovation and entrepreneurship prize

The DSEB's (Danish Society for Education and Business) innovation and entrepreneurship prize has been awarded to Lars Elbæk, an associate professor at the Department of Sport and Biomechanics at SDU.

Lars Elbæk has been the driving force in the study line Sports, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the bachelor's program. He has developed the Sports and Design course in the master's program in Sports and Health at SDU. There are significant entrepreneurial imprints in both the bachelor's and master's programs, and he works in close collaboration with the sports industry as partners and recipients of graduate candidates. In this way, the basis for the students' entrepreneurial ambitions is made visible and created.

The award committee calls it "an innovative education" and says of Lars Elbæk that "he succeeds in getting the students through the program and achieving a good result. Lars is a passionate person, and the award is given in recognition of this, and we hope that it can help inspire others to do the same."
