The Wiley Blackwell Annual Article Prize in Honour of Anthony D. Smith was established in 2018 to commemorate the enormous contributions he made to the study of nationalism. Smith for 2025 was awarded to Rasmus Glenthøj for his article, “Towards a realist theory of nationalism: Exploring realpolitik and the threshold principle in nineteenth century nationalism“, which was published in Volume 31 Issue 4 of Nations and Nationalism.
