Research areas
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
My research has analyzed the long-run influences of the in-utero and early-childhood health environments, the impact of funding for the modernization of hospitals, and the sources of racial inequality in health and lifetime earnings.
My research has been published (or is forthcoming) in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Labor Economics, the Journal of Human Resources, and has appeared in the National Bureau of Economic Research Working Paper series.
I am also affiliated with IZA as a Research Fellow.
