Personal profile
Research areas
I am a philosopher at the Department of Design, Media and Educational Science at SDU. My main research areas are German Idealism, Phenomenology, and Philosophy of Health. I enjoy working together with researchers from different fields. I am particularly intrested in people's lived experience as well as in critically rethinking existing concepts.
My PhD thesis studied the concept of chronic illness, with a special focus on the embodied experience of people who are living with a chronic illness. It emphasized people's experience of agency and temporality within chronic illness.
Currently, I am a Postdoc at the DFF-funded project "Wellbeing and Virtual Worlds" exploring the experience of Wellbeing in Virtuality. I am especially interested in the relation between personal development and digital wellbeing. By combining contemporary philosophical concepts with more traditional philosophical concepts, I aspire to explore how wellbeing can be conceptualized within virtual spaces and blended spaces.
