Research areas

Tina Junges main research area is muscle and joint health as well as physical activity across the life span, from children to elderly. Focus is on spinal health, sports medicine and hypermobility, and also on the physical and social benefits of group based physical activity, e.g. in people with dementia. The aim is to improve quality of life for the individual, through epidemiological studies and ´Patient and Public Involvement Strategy´ framework. Knowledge dissemination is a key factor in the scientific approach.
