Personal profile

Research Interests

My research focuses on environmental sustainability within contemporary design and design cultures, emphasizing the interdisciplinary integration of humanistic design studies and participatory design research. I focus on biodiversity, ecological design, more-than-human perspectives, multispecies interaction design and design culture in the green transition. My methods involve practice-based design research and cultural studies of design at the intersection of social and ecological sustainability, exploring design futures, ethics, and activism. I engage in social design for vulnerable groups, such as patients, and co-design within welfare institutions. Additionally, I conduct interaction design and material design experiments to advance these areas.
