Research Interests
I am researching play and lifestyle sports in the fields of philosophy of sport, sociology of sport and cultural analysis. My research interest includes lifestyle- and action sport, play, and physical education. I am passionate about lifestyle sports that includes a creative interpretation of the already organized urban space such as parkour and skateboarding and the institutionalization of these activities in different cultural contexts and environments. My aim is to develop how cultural analytical approaches can contribute to a critical understanding of bodies and lifestyle sports and their societal significance.
