I conduct research in didactics and pedagogy in the context of primary and secondary education.

In my research, I am particularly concerned with children and young people's perspectives on themes such as transnationality, migration, climate crisis and belonging in relation to identity, power relations and inequality. Also, I investigate pedagogy of nation, dialogic teaching and the development of didactics of various subjects, including religious education.
