In recent years, the world has evidenced tremendous advancement in the field of plasmonics and metamaterials/nanophotonics. Therefore, I aim to pursue an interdisciplinary target specific in nanophotonics devices consisting of both electronics and photonics research, focused on utilizing cutting edge technologies to make more advance and precise surface plasmon resonances and their interactions with emitters at nano-metric dimension and their spectroscopic applications, which will lead to the next generation of sensitive and specific state of art sensing technologies, on chip photonic devices integrated together with electronics components and therapeutics.

Nano-photonics, biophotonics, surface plasmon based bio/chemical sensors, surface plasmon based solar photovoltaics and light sources, molecular plasmonics, and metamaterials.
