Personal profile

Research Interests

I work with economic history, with a focus on higher education in Scandinavia during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. I apply econometric methods to examine long-term trends and developments, using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to extract data from historic source material.

My research interests include:

  • economic history
  • long-term economic growth and productivity
  • human capital, particularly the role of education

I have a master's degree in economics from SDU, and a PhD in economic history from Lund University.
