Morten Ploug Henriksen

PhD Student, University of Southern Denmark – Media Studies & Centre for Life Cycle Analyses

I research the role of media in climate transition, focusing on how media habits and patterns influence the perception of green mobility and sustainable solutions. My work is part of the interdisciplinary research project Media Habits and the Environment, which brings together expertise from Media Studies and the Centre for Life Cycle Analyses at SDU.

The project examines how media convey the complexity of climate transition, particularly in relation to Odense’s Green Mobility Plan. By analyzing media content and audience interactions, I investigate how media influence can either support or challenge efforts toward a more sustainable future.

With support from the SDU Climate Cluster, this project is rooted in the latest climate research and technological advancements, ensuring a nuanced understanding of the intersection between media communication and sustainable solutions.

I am open to academic collaborations and discussions on media’s role in climate transition. Feel free to contact me at [email protected].
