Personal profile

Research areas

I have been a postdoc at the Center for War Studies since November 1, 2021. I am part of associated prof. Kira Vrist Rønn’s DFF funded project The Online Police Gaze,  and I will be examining online police investigations and how technological advances of crime push/ call for virtual vs physical spaces as well as new investigative identities and practices.

My background is in organizational psychology, I have a PhD in innovation and organization from Copenhagen Business School and a postdoc in innovation management from Sloan School of Management, MIT, funded by the MIT Innovation Lab. My previous work has primarily drawn on my in-depth ethnographic study of frontline innovation in police and military organizations focusing on themes such as: frontline innovation within large bureaucracies, police innovation in times of the pandemic, ‘grey-zone’ creativity in police work, emotion regulation in law enforcement (as maintenance of institutional integrity) and qualitative in-depht methodology.
