Research Interests

As an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark (Department of Regional Health Research), I am responsible for a larger national Danish study regarding Covid-19 and Type-1 diabetes development.

Furtheremore, I have a research collaboration with the Bandim Health Project (www.bandim.org) in Guinea-Bissau, where I have previously been stationed. Here, my focus is currently on diabetes epidemiology.
