Personal profile

Research areas

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. Formed in Canada, Denmark, Sweden, and Belgium, I hold a Ph.D. summa cum laude in Cognitive Computing and a Masters in Philosophy, both from the University of Quebec in Montreal, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Montreal. Both as postdoc and data scientist, I also worked for various organisations interested in various aspects of scholarly communication.

Based on the joint and automated use of data-driven and linguistic techniques, my investigative efforts focus on scholarly writing in various contexts, from peer-reviewed publications and grant funding applications to scientific popularization texts and speeches. My aim as a researcher is to contribute to the understanding of knowledge sharing and dissemination mechanisms as well as of the cultural and social factors that drive them.
