Profile

I am a public health epidemiologist focusing on the use of real-world data. My research is driven by a desire to improve public health, particularly for vulnerable population groups. I am especially interested in understanding social inequalities in health, including how socioeconomic and other risk factors influence health behaviour and mental health. This interest is further motivated by the increasing social inequalities in health observed in recent decades and the need for deeper knowledge about their underlying mechanisms to inform effective policies and interventions.

I have extensive experience conducting advanced statistical and epidemiological analyses of large datasets, including survey data and national registers. I also have in-depth experience in project management, having served as project leader on several research projects.

In addition, I have extensive teaching experience in public health, gained over several years as a lecturer and teaching assistant in various courses, including Epidemiology. I have broad experience in report writing and in disseminating research through scientific articles published in international journals.
