Personal profile
Research areas
Mental health epidemiology, psychosocial risk factors, health equity, and psychiatric outcomes. I am particularly interested in the long-term effects of experiences such as bullying involvement and psychotic experiences, on mental health, healthcare use, and labor market outcomes. My work often involves longitudinal cohort studies and national register data. I also have a strong interest in citizen science and participatory research, with a focus on involving citizens in the research process. This includes projects related to rural health, stigma, service access, and ensuring that research is grounded in the lived experiences of affected communities.
