Personal profile
Research areas
Laura Cecilie Roy (RN, MScN) is conducting research on patients’ pathways through the healthcare system as part of her PhD project affiliated with the Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, and the Research Unit of Surgery, Odense University Hospital.
As a clinically anchored researcher, she works closely with the practice field and has a strong interest in how research can be translated into tangible improvements in patient pathways. With experience from both the primary and secondary healthcare sectors, she has a particular interest in collaboration across professional groups and organizational structures. This interest stems from the conviction that cross-sectoral cooperation is essential to ensuring quality in patient care – and will increasingly shape the future of healthcare delivery.
