Personal profile

Research areas

I am an interdisciplinary researcher of tourism, mobility and sustainable / regenerative transformations. My research has focused on sustainable tourism development, sustainable mobility, design of inclusive and accessible tourism services and experiences for people with different abilities and disabilities. I have particularly looked at participatory and inclusive processes and have worked with tourism co-design as a methodology.

Recently I have been working on developing citizen science frameworks (ISOSCAN, ClimateBlue projects) and researching resilience and transformations (at multiple scales and from a living systems perspective) related to tourism in Ukraine in the context of war.

I am also interested in transformative processes related to climate adaptation, especially in the context of coastal areas.
