Research areas
My research interest concerns people's sense-making practices - how do we sustain social order in society? My approach is ethnomethodological conversation analysis (EMCA). My work focuses on everyday and institutional interaciton, and my work has addresses (second/foreign language) classroom interaction, human-robot interaction, design processes, and behavior in shared public space.
